As I type today’s blog, I can see my own Vision Board. And unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 5 to 10 years you will have heard about this phenomena & entity called the Vision Board. Amongst the many spiritual & intrinsic reasons for having a Vision Board, the main reason relates to the concept of ‘the power of attraction.’
You attract only what you dream about whether directly or by default. However, unfortunately many people don’t even know what their actual goals & dreams are in their lives! So they end up attracting what they did not want or wish for in their lives. Yes, we’ve all been there, haven’t we?! People such as Oprah Winfrey have been doing Vision Boards themselves for years and years. So drum roll please…you now ask me what is a Vision Board?
So then, I will humbly ask you to: think about, dream and fantasize where you see yourself in your future. Then GO and FIND pictures – whether that’s from magazines, covers or from flyers, posters, or books. Then place this board in a central place where you and/or your loved ones will see this board on a daily basis.
It serves as a central reminder, and focal point for your dream life. These pictures will be a symbol and will either represent a dream of yours or may even be the dream itself. For example, I have 14 little cut-outs of exotic places in the world that I’ve always dreamed of traveling to. I’ll let you know when I travel to one of these places…but for now let’s start on yours!
